Meet the Team

“Our mission is to change the collision repair industry one great experience at a time.”

LONNIE Teeter, owner and operator of Morrill Collision LLC, had harbored dreams of starting an auto body repair facility since 1998.  His dreams were realized a few years later when, in June of 2001, Lonnie and his wife Melanie opened the doors to what has become the very successful Morrill.  Lonnie is proud to be able to have his whole family involved.  He strives to be continually looking to the future and expanding his business.   Lonnie did not receive his training in a conventional Tech school, but rather, in practical hands-on experience working in the area body shops.  He is now PPG Waterborne Certified, has taken several I-CAR training classes and is also certified in Light Duty Towing.

Lonnie is a proud graduate of Sabetha High School, class of 1992. He attended Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, MO for 3 semesters where he met his beautiful wife Melanie. They married in February of 1995 and they have three children, Jerome, Jessica, and Jordan. When he is not occupied with his growing business, Lonnie enjoys simple downtime spent with family and friends in a variety of outdoor activities. Lonnie and his family have lived in Morrill, KS for 21 years.

MELANIE Teeter, co-owner of Morrill Collision LLC, grew up in central Nebraska dreaming of getting married, having children, and working alongside her husband. She was homeschooled for 10 years and graduated from Nebraska Christian High School in 1992. Melanie is very happily settled in the little town of Morrill, KS with her loyal husband and three charming children. She enjoys different aspects of every season. She relishes planting garden in the spring, mowing grass in the summer, walking through the crunchy leaves in the fall and scooping snow in the winter.

GREG Dettmann started working for Morrill Collision LLC in 2006, shortly after graduating from Universal Technical Institute in Houston, TX. While at UTI he acquired certification in Collision Repair and Refinishing. Since starting at MCR, Greg has also received and maintains a PPG Waterborne Refinishing Certificate. He is dedicated to the company and is the most accomplished technician in the shop. He is our representative tech in both steel structural repair and paint refinish for ICAR, the top certification organization in the automotive industry. From body work and refinishing to frame repair, Greg skillfully works to get your car repaired to its original condition, or in his words, “Better than factory!”

His favorite way to spend his free time is being with his young family working on house projects or visiting grandparents. He has two little boys, Erickson and Elliot, that he likes to play tractors with. Greg was born and raised in Falls City, NE and continues to live there with Laci and the boys.

JEROME Teeter has been working under his dad’s instruction since Morrill Collision LLC opened in 2001.  Jerome has become proficient in frame and body repair, paint preparation, refinishing and reassembly. He has even completed several I-CAR and 3M training courses.  Jerome has developed his skills in refinishing to the point where he is one of the most skilled painters at MCR, achieving PPG Waterborne certification in refinishing.

Apart from Lonnie, Jerome is one of the primary operators for MCR Towing and Recovery. He has been trained and acquired certification in two levels of the WreckMaster training program as well as being certified in Light Duty Towing and Recovery.

After finishing two years at Calvary Bible College Jerome moved back to Morrill to settle into a position as Shop manager at MCR. In June he married his college sweetheart, Cynthia, and now enjoys working alongside her at Morrill.

Jerome and Cynthia both enjoy spending time with friends and family and working in the garden together.  They are looking forward to serving the Lord in whatever capacity their community needs.

Cynthia

CYNTHIA Teeter grew up as a missionary kid in Monterrey, Mexico. She moved to the United States in 2013 to attend college and has been pursuing a degree in the States ever since. She met Jerome Teeter in 2015 at Calvary Bible College where they were both attending classes. They were excited to be able to get married June 1, 2018. Cynthia began working as a secretary at MCR in June after marrying Jerome. She is responsible for the parts department, answers the phone and assists with the towing accounts and billing. Cynthia has had a broad education that includes 5 years of classes in general and elementary education, and a certification for tutoring. She will be finishing her Bachelor’s in business administration with an emphasis in marketing.

A favorite way Cynthia likes to spend her time is in hanging out with friends. She enjoys being involved in their lives, to know how they are doing, and to know in what ways that she can help them such as in prayer. She also dabbles in drawing, decorating, and relaxing.:) She lives in Morrill, Kansas, a little town between Hiawatha and Sabetha. She has only lived in Morrill for a short time and it has been an adventure for her as she adapts to small-town life.

“There has been a lot of information that I have been learning, but I have awesome co-workers who help me through the new things that I need to learn and understand.” –Cynthia Teeter

JESSICA Teeter is the daughter of Lonnie & Melanie Teeter, the owners of Morrill Collision LLC. Jessica has been working in different capacities at MCR since the shop opened in 2001. She started out sweeping the floors, detailing completed vehicles, and prepping parts for paint and has now moved into the office answering the phone, managing the parts department, accounts payable. Her most time-consuming responsibilities consist of her roles as the chief website editor and the advertisement/social media manager.

When she is not at work, she loves to spend time with her family and friends doing any number of things. She relishes a chance to tinker around the kitchen and can often be found there, trying out a new dessert recipe, or helping prepare meals for her family. Jessica is now studying Biblical Counseling at Calvary University in Kansas City, MO. She has found a lot of joy in volunteering as a dorm leader at a Bible camp in Nebraska for a week during her summers.

JORDAN Teeter has grown up working beside his dad, learning from the best what it means to pursue excellence in every aspect of the repair. Whether it’s scuffing parts or painting a vehicle, Jordan has learned that every area is equally important.

He is competent in numerous areas including, body repair, welding, masking/paint prep, and refinishing. Jordan is one of MCR’s PPG certified paint technicians and he continually pushes himself to new levels of skill, learning practical techniques from Lonnie and Greg in both the towing business and in collision repair. He has completed two levels of WreckMaster towing and recovery training and continues to build his experience in this field.

When he is not perfecting his skills at Morrill Collision LLC or out on after-hours tow calls, Jordan likes indulging his competitive side by playing ultimate frisbee with friends. He enjoys relaxing at home with family and occasionally touching up his grilling expertise. And after training for a couple of years, Jordan has earned his private pilot’s license and still hopes to someday own his own airplane. Jordan is currently studying Bible and Theology at Calvary University in Kansas City, MO.
