“Our mission is to change the collision repair industry one great experience at a time.”
LONNIE Teeter, owner and operator of Morrill Collision Repair, Inc., had harbored dreams of starting an auto body repair facility since 1998. His dreams were realized a few years later when, in June of 2001, Lonnie and his wife Melanie opened the doors to what has become the very successful Morrill Collision Repair, Inc. Lonnie is proud to be able to have his whole family involved. He strives to be continually looking to the future and expanding his business. Lonnie did not receive his training in a conventional Tech school, but rather, in practical hands-on experience working in the area body shops. He is now PPG Waterborne Certified, has taken several I-CAR training classes and is also certified in Light Duty Towing.
Lonnie is a proud graduate of Sabetha High School, class of 1992. He attended Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, MO for 3 semesters where he met his beautiful wife Melanie. They married in February of 1995 and they have three children, Jerome, Jessica, and Jordan. When he is not occupied with his growing business, Lonnie enjoys simple downtime spent with family and friends in a variety of outdoor activities. Lonnie and his family have lived in Morrill, KS for 21 years.
MELANIE Teeter, co-owner of Morrill Collision Repair Inc., grew up in central Nebraska dreaming of getting married, having children, and working alongside her husband. She was homeschooled for 10 years and graduated from Nebraska Christian High School in 1992.
Melanie is very happily settled in the little town of Morrill, KS with her loyal husband and three charming children. She enjoys different aspects of every season. She relishes planting garden in the spring, mowing grass in the summer, walking through the crunchy leaves in the fall and scooping snow in the winter.
SHAVAUN Vernon, of rural Bendena, KS began working as a secretary at Morrill Collision Repair in July of 2016. Her responsibilities include assisting in the parts department, billing, accounts payable, and trying to fill Jessica’s shoes while she’s away at college. Shavaun is the mother of two grown sons and has also been blessed with four grandsons. She enjoys quilting; working with stained-glass; and gardening. After work hours, she teaches private music lessons and tutors in math and English five nights a week.
GREG Dettmann started working for Morrill Collision Repair in 2006, shortly after graduating from Universal Technical Institute in Houston, TX. While at UTI he acquired certification in Collision Repair and Refinishing. Since starting at MCR, Greg has also received and maintains a PPG Waterborne Refinishing Certificate. He is dedicated to the company and is the most accomplished technician in the shop. From body work and refinishing to frame repair, Greg skillfully works to get your car repaired to its original condition, or in his words, “Better than factory!”
In his free time, he enjoys riding his Honda CBR 600, playing with his dog Hank, and just being outdoors in general. He takes time every fall to help his Grandpa with harvest. Greg was born and raised in Falls City, NE. In October of 2015 Greg became “the happiest man alive,” by marrying his wife Laci Boltz. In September of 2016, Greg and Laci had the pleasure of introducing their son, Erickson Lee, to the world.
JEROME Teeter has been working under his dad’s tutelage since Morrill Collision Repair opened in 2001. Jerome has attended several I-CAR and 3M training classes and has been trained and acquired certification in Light Duty Towing and Recovery. He has become proficient in disassembly, body repair, paint preparation, refinishing and reassembly. He has developed his skills in refinishing to the point where he is one of the most skilled painters at MCR and has completed the PPG Waterborne certification training in refinishing.
Jerome is also one of the primary operators for MCR Towing & Recovery. The amount of energy and excitement Jerome, Lonnie and Jordan get from the ever-new challenges of towing and roadside assistance work is fun to see!
Jerome enjoys spending time with friends and family, shooting his guns, and bicycling. He is always willing to lend a hand to help out with just about any project for his home church. He takes great pleasure in making modifications to his pick-up truck and enjoys helping others do the same. After completing two years at Calvary Bible College, Jerome has now moved back to Morrill, and is working into the position of shop manager at Morrill Collision Repair, Inc.
JESSICA Teeter is the daughter of Lonnie & Melanie Teeter, the owners of Morrill Collision Repair. Jessica has been working in different capacities at MCR since the shop opened in 2001. She started out sweeping the floors, detailing completed vehicles, and prepping parts for paint and has now moved into the office answering the phone, managing the parts department, accounts payable. Her most time consuming responsibilities consist of her roles as the chief website editor, and the advertisement/social media manager.
When she is not at work, she loves to spend time with her family and friends doing any number of things. She relishes a chance to tinker around the kitchen and can often be found there, trying out a new desert recipe, or helping prepare meals for her family. Jessica is now studying Biblical Counseling at Calvary University in Kansas City, MO. She has found a lot of joy in volunteering as a dorm leader at a Bible camp in Nebraska for a week during her summers.
JORDAN Teeter has grown up working beside his dad, learning from one of the best what it means to pursue excellence in every aspect of the repair. Whether it’s scuffing parts or painting a vehicle, Jordan has learned that every area is equally important. He is competent in numerous areas including, body repair, welding, masking/paint prep, and refinishing. He continually pushes himself to new levels of skill, learning practical techniques from Lonnie and Greg in both the towing business and collision repair.
When he is not perfecting his skills at Morrill Collision Repair, Jordan enjoys playing an occasional baseball game with friends or off-roading with ATVs. Over his weekends, Jordan has been going to flight school with ambitions of attaining a private pilot’s license and perhaps some day owning his own airplane. He resides in Morrill, KS with his parents and two siblings.
JARED Millsap has been working at Morrill Collision Repair since December of 2013. Jared works hard in any area he is needed, from helping tear down vehicles and prepping parts for paint, to detailing the completed job. He is always eager to learn a new skill and continues to thrive at MCR.
During the summer he takes great pleasure in working with his 4-H pig. Jared’s hands are seldom found idle, whether working at MCR or figuring out how to build a fort, he likes to keep busy by doing something productive. Jared lives in Morrill, KS with his parents and three siblings.
